Mannamót – Natural Iceland Travel Trade Show

Mannamót – Natural Iceland Travel Trade Show will be held on Thursday, January 16th, 2025.

Mannamót is an annual event in Reykjavík, hosted by six marketing offices around Iceland, Norlandair Airline, and Isavia, the Icelandic airport operator.

Visitors can expect to see up to 250 companies, so give yourself plenty of time to walk around, explore, experience, talk, laugh, and taste. Take notice that no meetings are booked. Invitations are sent out to travel agencies and tour operators, employees at hotels and guesthouses, information centers, airlines, guides, tourism students and teachers, Promote Iceland and PR offices, the Icelandic Tourist Board, the government of tourism, and other parties interested in or working in tourism.

Admission for visitors is free, and the event is set up for informal communication. No meetings are booked, but remember to bring your contact information and a happy outgoing spirit. We request that visitors register so we can send you updates and prepare ourselves about how many will be attending the event.

No admission fee to the exhibition

This time we are also sending out invitations to foreign travel agencies and we encourage all participants to invite their contacts. We do not expect a large number of foreign parties this year, but we are letting you know that this is an annual event so that we can prepare for participation for next year if there is interest.

All tourism companies can participate

Companies that are not members of a marketing agency can contact their regional office, whose contact information can be found in the footer below. The regional marketing agencies encourage all tourism companies to participate in Mannamót and use the opportunity to promote and sell their company. This is a unique opportunity to strengthen relationships with existing customers, form new relationships and, not least, to get to know partners across the country.

A wide variety of companies in attendance

Mannamót is unique in that companies of all sizes and types, old and new, from all parts of the country participate in the exhibition. The setup and facilities are raw, informal and give a good picture of the characteristics of the regions, which has aroused the satisfaction of both visitors and exhibitors. The marketing agencies send out a service survey after each exhibition where parties are given the opportunity to express their opinions and we try to adapt the service and organization each time to the comments and suggestions that are made.

Domestic Airports operates 12 scheduled airports, including three international airports, along with 35 landing sites.

Through efficient airport operations, the staff of Inland Airports lays the foundation for an improved quality of life throughout the country. The airports are an important link in the nation's transportation system, and with good air connections between rural areas and the capital, the foundation is laid for good domestic communication.

Domestic airports, together with the Icelandic Tourism Agency, the Northern Market Agency and Austurbrú, have worked together over the past two years to introduce new gateways to Iceland, namely Akureyri and Egilsstaðir Airport. This project is bearing fruit and there will be a total of international flights from these two airports to six destinations abroad in the coming months.
